Surrounded by an ancient circular hedge (referred to as ‘The Ring’), this family-run Bed and Breakfast is located on a working farm just outside the town of Birr.
Accommodation at the house consists of four guest rooms three of which are ensuite while all feature TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The B&B also features a range of child-friendly facilities including a tree house. Babysitting may also be arranged.
The Ring Farmhouse is a working beef farm. For those guests who wish to avail of it, John, the farmer / host, will take guests on a tour of the farm answering all questions and for a bit of history there is also a range of old farm horse field machinery on display and children can be entertained by feeding the hens and collecting eggs.
