Photography Workshop
Saturday 18th January, 10 am
Join Shane Hynan for a workshop introducing you to ways of working within photography along with strategies to develop a series of images to tell a story or embody an idea, theme, concept, mood etc. The goal of the workshop is to get people to think differently and engage in a more informed and considered manner with their photography and subject matter.
The focus of this workshop will not be about learning how to use your camera or the different settings on it. You don’t have to be an expert on your camera but a basic understanding of your camera is required to partake in this workshop.
Suitable for people using either digital point and shoot, DSLR or phone cameras who are interested in developing their photography towards a more narrative, series or project-based approach.
You will need:
Camera with fully charged battery and memory card with sufficient memory space.
Laptop (will be used in the later part of the workshop to review and select images)
USB cable to download images from camera to laptop.
Lunch (we won’t have time to stop for lunch but you can bring your lunch and eat it during the day)
Tickets: €25 (+booking fee)
