On this walk you will see a number of interesting historic buildings as you walk through the village:
· The Forge just after you cross St. Patrick’s Bridge
· Church of the Sacred Heart
· St. Broughan’s Hall 1928
In addition to historic buildings, as you walk along the river track, keep an eye out for the heron, swan and the moorhen coot and grey wagtail. Look for willow, birch, ash and oak trees. Fish in the Figile River include brown trout, salmon, perch and pike.
